HIIS – Information Model

The information model describes the information provided via the HIIS-API and the relationships between them.

Overview

The HIIS Directory (directory of medical aids, implants, and interfaces for medical aids and implants) contains HIIS Directory Entries (HiisCatalogEntry).

Each HIIS Directory Entry references a Medical Aid Interface (HiisDeviceDataRecorderDefinition) or a Medical Aid or implant (HiisPersonalHealthDeviceDefinition).

Each Medical Aid Interface provides multiple Medical Aid Interface Endpoints (HiisDeviceDataRecorderEndpoint) and is provided by a HIIS Manufacturer (HiisManufacturer). A Medical Aid Interface can also support multiple Medical Aids.

Additional information on a Medical Aid Interface is provided as a HIIS Questionnaire Dataset (HiisQuestionnaireResponse) associated with a HIIS Questionnaire (HiisQuestionnaire).

Medical Aid Interfaces and Medical Aids can be classified via HIIS Categories.
