HIIS – Overview

This implementation guide documents the HIIS-API software interface for providing data from the HIIS directory, i.e. the directory of Medical Aids and Implants (HIIS).

Using the FHIR sandbox

To publish data in the FHIR sandbox, you must be the manufacturer of a medical aid interface (interface for a medical aid or implant).

In the “FHIR” tab in the HIIS reporting portal, you publish your interface data in the HIIS sandbox and receive the access credentials for the DiGA and HIIS sandboxes.
